An apple with a smooth crimson skin which quickly develops a natural bluish bloom. It is available from late September until early December.
History: the variety was raised in British Colombia by R.C.Palmer in 1926. It was introduced in 1936.
Appearance: the shape is round conical. The skin is smooth and bright crimson in colour which can quickly become discoloured by a natural bluish bloom. The flesh is intense white in colour.
Eating Characteristics: the flavour is refreshing and sweet with good levels of juice. The white flesh is crisp and firm but tender.
